Tractor Maintenance Tips

Tractor Maintenance Tips

Abstract: Tractor technical maintenance is a maintenance measure and an important means to keep the tractor in good technical condition. Because after a period of time, the tensile machine will inevitably produce corrosion, fatigue, fracture, rubber parts aging, etc. on the surface of the parts, resulting in reduced performance and worse working conditions.

In order to prevent the early deterioration of the technical state of the tractor, regularly check, adjust, lubricate, fasten and replace parts, add lubricant, add fuel, cooling water and other technical maintenance measures to the tractor according to the technical requirements, so as to restore the technical state of the tractor , thus prolonging the use time of the tractor, this is the preventive measure. Only by doing a good job in technical maintenance can the tractor be kept in good condition and achieve the goals of high efficiency, high quality, low consumption and safety.

01 Maintenance of dry filter

Take out the filter element, clean the inner shell of the air filter with a brush, and discharge the dust in the rubber dust bag; turn the filter element while blowing out the dust from the inside of the filter element with compressed air less than 500KPa; finally reassemble the filter element.

02 Engine oil pan

Oil quantity inspection and oil change

Pull out the oil dipstick located at the left front of the engine oil pan, and check whether the oil level is between the upper and lower marks. If the oil level does not reach the lower engraved line, remove the fuel filler cap on the timing gear chamber cover of the engine to refuel. When maintaining and changing oil, unscrew the oil drain screw plug at the lower part of the oil pan, drain the dirty oil and clean it, and then refill with new oil.

03 Maintenance of the front axle

According to the maintenance requirements, add lubricating grease to the kingpin bushing, front axle central swing pin bushing, the ball joints at both ends of the steering cylinder and the ball joints of the tie rods, and check whether the ball pin nuts of the tie rods and the pin nuts at both ends of the oil cylinder are loose.

04 Maintenance of oil filter

The lifter oil filter is located under the right side of the engine. Maintenance must be carried out according to technical requirements, the method is as follows: unscrew the rear end cover of the oil filter, take out the mesh filter element, clean it with gasoline and blow it with compressed air. When the filter element is difficult to clean or damaged, the filter element should be replaced.

05 Drive train maintenance

When checking the oil level, park the tractor on a level ground, turn off the engine, unscrew the oil dipstick located on the right side of the main transmission lever, wipe it clean, and then insert the oil dipstick, if the oil level is lower than the lower mark on the dipstick , should add transmission oil to between the upper and lower lines of the oil dipstick (should be measured 5 minutes after adding transmission lubricating oil). When replacing lubricating oil, remove the oil drain plug located at the bottom of the transmission case, drain the dirty oil, clean it with diesel oil, then tighten the oil drain plug, and fill with new transmission lubricating oil.

06 Lifter maintenance

Park the tractor on a level ground, lower the lifting arm to the lowest position, turn off the engine, unscrew the oil dipstick on the upper cover of the lifter, check the oil level, if it is lower than the lower engraved line, add oil to the upper and lower engraved lines . When replacing the hydraulic oil, the screw plug should be removed to drain the dirty oil, and then new hydraulic oil should be added as required.

07 Fuel tank maintenance

Park the tractor on level ground, turn off the engine, remove the oil drain plug under the fuel tank, and drain the sediment at the bottom of the fuel tank. The oil tank has the function of storing oil, precipitating water and impurities, and it should be cleaned regularly to remove dirt during use.

08 Bolts

When the tractor is running in harsh terrain, the bumps and vibrations are large, so it is particularly important to fasten the bolts of each part.

Go around the whole machine and check whether the nuts and bolts of key external parts are loose, such as: front and rear wheel nuts, hub bolts, bolts at the steering joint of the front axle, bolts at the suspension of the traction device, etc. If they are loose, tighten them in time.

09 Electricity

Check whether the battery has electricity, whether the circuit is normal when the engine is running normally, and whether the generator belt is loose.

10 Air

Check the tire pressure, visually observe whether there is obvious lack of air, and inflate if necessary. The temperature is high in summer. When inflating tires, it is advisable to lower the standard air pressure by 2%-3%.

To sum up, clean diesel, clean engine oil, clean air, clean water, and then check, adjust and fasten
