When should engine seals be replaced?

How do I know if my engine seal is damaged?
1. Where there is (blue) smoke, there is fire. Starting a cold engine is often a good way to determine the health of your valve seals.
2. Idle. A similar phenomenon occurs when idling.
3. Excessive smoking.
4. Higher oil consumption.
5. Engine brake test.

The most common causes of oil seal failure include:
1. Inaccurate installation, such as placing the seal in the wrong location in the housing or handling it improperly.
Improper application of sealant.
2. Defects on the shaft (burrs, corrosion, etc.) will directly affect the service life of the oil seal.
3. Extreme temperatures cause components to crack or expand, causing premature deterioration of oil seal materials.
4. Other maintenance factors, such as insufficient internal lubrication of the engine.
